Silene Women’s Empowerment and Charitable Organization was founded in 2016 GC and legally registered on September 1, 2020 GC.
The name Silene is inspired by the belief that meaningful change and progress begin within oneself before extending to others. We believe that transforming society starts with self-transformation.
Silene is founded on the conviction that many women possess immense and untapped potential to create positive change in their communities. Accordingly, the organization primarily works to raise awareness about women’s capabilities and to promote the critical role women play in the overall development process.
